Our lubricants are designed to reduce the Coefficient of Friction, minimizing the Stick-Slip effect, assembly forces, and meeting requirements related to surface contamination assessment (technical cleanliness analysis). The formulations used, including colorable ones, cover a wide range of operating temperatures and liquid contacts to meet the needs of various industries.

We offer the possibility to develop custom lubricants. Once the customer’s requirements are understood (assembly, operating temperature, contact with liquids or gases, treatment duration, necessary coloring), CSI designs and develops a dedicated formulation. Among the various components used are: silicone resins, acrylic resins, polyurethane resins, PTFE, crosslinking agents, etc.

• Micro cleaning
  Process to remove specific contaminants present in low concentrations on the surface of the part. The surface of the part is bombarded with particular gases that react upon contact with contaminant molecules, chemically modifying their nature.
• Etching
  Process that modifies the surface of the part by increasing its roughness. It can reduce surface contamination and improve the adhesion of the lubricant film.
• Polymerization
  Process that, starting from a monomer, forms a polymer with lubricating characteristics and a thickness not exceeding 1.5 microns.

Parylenes not only have excellent anti-friction and adhesion properties, but also the unique ability to form a polymer film that makes the treated surface impermeable to liquids and gases.
